The Practice was established in 2011 and incorporated in Nov 2014.
The Practice downsized to smaller premises in Nov 2024 after ten years in High Street offices. We now operate from a small studio.
We work on: -
Buildings are treated on an individual basis for PI purposes; therefore on larger sites/projects, if a site has multiple buildings these are treated individually for Insurance purposes. PI Insurers look at the spread of risk between the Architect and other design consultants ie the Structural and Civil Engineer, M&E Consultant, Cladding Contractor, Fire Engineer and other Specialist Consultants would all carry some of the liability spreading the PI risk.
For the sectors we have experience in see our Portfolio
We offer a full range of Architectural, Interior Architecture, Conservation, Principal Designer CDM, and Principal Designer Building Regs as well as Complimentary services. see the services menu above.
We have wide ranging experience aquired whilst working at practices based in London, Cardiff, Staffordshire, and Warrington. Working on both private and public sector projects across all sectors; we therefore offer large practice experience in a small SME package. Our Principal Architect has been a registered Architect since 1987.
We also have experience utilising Offsite construction since 2008 and have won awards as recognised experts.
We are open to approaches from Builders and Contractors who want to provide Architectural Serivces to their Clients on a design and build basis.
We work for Builders and Contractors on a repeat basis as well as Developers.
Some Contractors and Builders put their Clients in contact with us for direct appointment, some use the D&B route, although the direct appointment route is becoming a better option with the current changes to Building Regulation Principal Designer requirements.
As a direct result of our background and experience our work is underpinned by a strong commercial and technical understanding. We strive for excellence in every project we undertake. We offer a friendly service, providing help and additional support where needed. We also advise our Clients 'what they need to hear'.
The Practice is backed by an established team of consultants, who assist with Multi discipline services, We regularly work as a multi-disciplinary team. We are happy to source and deal with consultants on your behalf. We would prefer that the consultants are appointed and paid direct as this reduces PI premiums. These include:- Architect, Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Structural & Civil Engineer, M&E Consulting Engineers, Planning Consultant, Landscape Architect, Health & Safety Consultant, Ancillary Services ie Ecology, Topography, Tree Surveys, etc.
We pride ourselves on the design of visionary, innovative and technical solutions [thinking outside the box]. We get things done, keep client budgets in mind and meet the needs of the brief. This has resulted in a reputation for excellent service and our Clients coming back to work with us again and again.
We are a small business and so would appreciate timely settlement of Invoices issued.
We work on the basis that we will not move onto the next stage of a project until the invoice for the previous stage of the project is settled.
We will also not submit Planning, Conservation or Building Regulation applications until Invoices for the relevant stage of the project are settled.
Everything helps to keep the economy moving.
